Refund Policy

LAST UPDATED: 10 JULY 2026 · VERSION 1.0 · APPLIES TO ALL DIGITAL PURCHASES

In short: our products are digital downloads delivered instantly. Once you download or access the files, all sales are final and your 14-day cooling-off right is waived. If you have paid but not downloaded anything, you can cancel within 14 days for a full refund, and your statutory rights for faulty digital content always apply. All refunds are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record.
SECTION 01

Summary

This policy explains when refunds are and are not available for purchases of Regulation4U digital products (the "Materials"), sold by Regulation4U Ltd through Paddle as merchant of record. It applies to all three tiers — Regulation Decoded, Action Blueprint, and Market Navigator — and forms part of our Terms of Service.

SECTION 02

Digital products, delivered immediately

The Materials are digital content — guides, checklists, interactive tools, case studies, and video — supplied by secure download links delivered immediately after successful payment. Your access page remains available for 30 days: download your files within that window to keep them permanently under your licence. Links are personal to your order, permit a limited number of downloads, and files may be digitally stamped with your purchaser details. Links can be re-issued free of charge within the 30-day window; after it expires, contact support@regulation4u.com. Because digital files cannot be "returned," the rules below differ from those for physical goods, as UK and EU consumer law recognises. Download activity is logged and is used to determine refund eligibility under this policy.

SECTION 03

The 14-day cooling-off period and its waiver

If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you normally have a 14-day right to cancel a distance purchase without giving a reason. For digital content, that right ends early once supply begins with your agreement.

By completing checkout and downloading or accessing the Materials, you: (a) expressly request and consent to immediate supply of the digital content within the cancellation period; and (b) acknowledge that you thereby lose your statutory 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (or the equivalent EU rules).

Accordingly, once any of the Materials in your order have been downloaded or accessed, all sales are final and no refund is available for change of mind, non-use, or finding the content unsuitable for your particular circumstances. Please review the tier descriptions and FAQ carefully before purchasing — and if you're unsure which tier fits your role, email us before you buy and we'll advise honestly.

SECTION 04

Undownloaded purchases — 14-day cancellation

If you have paid but have not downloaded or accessed any of the Materials, your cancellation right remains intact. Contact us within 14 days of purchase with your order reference and we will cancel the order and issue a full refund through Paddle. Download activity is verifiable through our delivery records, which will be used to confirm eligibility.

SECTION 05

Faulty or misdescribed content — your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If the Materials are faulty — for example, files are corrupted, incomplete, inaccessible, or materially not as described on this website — contact us and we will first repair or replace the affected content (typically by reissuing working files), and where the law requires it, provide a price reduction or refund. Refunds due under this section are processed by Paddle to your original payment method.

SECTION 06

Tier upgrades are not refunds

If you purchase a lower tier and later want a higher one, contact us: we will credit the amount of your original purchase toward the higher tier, as described in our FAQ. An upgrade credit is a discount on the new purchase, not a refund of the original one, and this policy's refund rules do not apply to it.

SECTION 07

How refunds are processed

All payments and refunds are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to your original payment method and include any VAT or sales tax charged. Once Paddle issues a refund, the time it takes to appear in your account depends on your bank or card provider. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms; where those terms govern payment and refund mechanics, they prevail on those matters.

A note on chargebacks: if you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first — verified issues (including faulty files) are resolved quickly and without dispute fees. Initiating a chargeback for a purchase that falls outside this policy may result in suspension of your download access while the dispute is investigated.

SECTION 08

How to request a refund

Email support@regulation4u.com from the address used at checkout, including:

  • your order reference (on your Paddle receipt email);
  • the tier purchased and date of purchase;
  • the reason — cancellation of an undownloaded order (Section 4) or faulty content (Section 5, describe the fault); and
  • for faulty content, any screenshots or error details that help us reproduce the issue.

We will acknowledge your request, verify eligibility against our delivery records, and confirm the outcome by email. Approved refunds are then issued through Paddle as described in Section 7.
